Meet Jon, who travelled from Norway for immunotherapy at the Cambridge Peanut Allergy Clinic

Jon has completed a 4-month journey through a process called oral immunotherapy. With help from professionals at the Clinic, Jon has gradually increased his body's tolerance for peanut. He will now eat the equivalent of two peanuts a day. Having reached this phase of therapy, he shared his thoughts on the journey so far.

Jon, age 16, who travelled from Norway to visit the Clinic says, "yippee! I don't have to be afraid of peanuts anymore." His father speaks of the relief he feels, saying "it makes a lot of difference. I feel a lot less worried now I'm able to send him out without concern. I'm much more calm and relaxed."
